Mickie Tim Wagner

Mickie Tim Wagner passed away on Tuesday, October 14, 2014 at home following a courageous eight year battle with multiple myeloma. Mickie was born on June 22, 1947 in Antigo, Wisconsin to Aloysius and Nina Brennanen Wagner.
He grew up in Pelican Lake Wisconsin graduating from Elcho High School in 1965. In 1967 he entered the United States Air Force serving in Texas, Southeast Asia, Iceland, Idaho, California, Virginia, Utah, and Germany before retiring with 22 years of service from Minot AFB, North Dakota in 1989. He then moved with his family to Clinton, Utah and worked for Lockheed Martin at Hill AFB retiring in 2011.
He married Susan Putnam on May 24, 1975 in Las Vegas, Nevada.
Mickie was an active member of Community United Methodist Church in Washington Terrace and held many church leadership positions. He loved the outdoors, the summers were for camping, fishing, golfing, and the winters were for bowling, Nascar and the Green Bay Packers. He also loved traveling and spending time with his kids and grandkids.
Mickie is survived by his wife, Susan; daughter, Melissa (Robert) Lund of Clearfield; son, Adam of West Jordan; grandchildren, Katy and Jaykob; his beloved “boys” Fritz and Rocky; sister, Joann (Leo) Reedy of Green Bay, Wisconsin; brothers, Richard and Jerry (Joann) of Summit Lake, Wisconsin; Jan (Veronica) of Pelican Lake, Wisconsin; and Larry (Brenda) of Grand Rapids, Michigan; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, sister, Susan Faulkner; brothers, David Wagner, Mark Wagner, and Scott Wagner.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, October 18, 2014 at 10 a.m. at Community United Methodist Church, 163 West 4800 South, Washington Terrace. Friends may visit with family on Friday from 6 to 8 p.m. at Lindquist’s Roy Mortuary, 3333 West 5600 South. Interment, Clinton City Cemetery.
The family would like to thank Dr. Carl Gray and his staff for treating Mickie through his cancer journey. They would also like to thank the staff of Rehab Unit of Davis Hospital, Rocky Mountain Physical Therapy, University of Utah Neuro Unit and the CNS Hospice for their care and compassion over the past two months.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Multiple Myeloma Research Foundation, Community United Methodist Church Endowment Fund or a local charity.
