It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Miguel Cruz Carrillo, a dedicated firefighter, engineer and on-site supervisor, who left us at the age of 33. Miguel was a beacon of courage and compassion, known for his laughter and ability to make others laugh. He had a heart of gold and always looked out for others.
Born to Epifanio Cruz and Amalia Carrillo, Miguel was a beloved son, brother, and father. He is survived by his cherished son, Aaiyden Michael Cruz, who was the light of his life. Miguel’s love for his family was evident in everything he did, and he will be profoundly missed by his siblings, Jose, Lucy, Hugo, Adriana, Margarita, Steven, and Teresa. Each of them holds precious memories of laughter, support, and the strong bond they shared. He was also an uncle to 15 nieces and nephews who will always remember him with love and joy.
Miguel was preceded in death by his father, Epifanio; and brother-in-law, Xavier Sr. leaving a legacy of strength and resilience that will continue to inspire those who knew him. He was not only a skilled professional but also a kind-hearted individual who touched the lives of many through his generosity and spirit.
As we remember Miguel, let us celebrate his life and the many ways he made a difference. May his soul rest in peace, and may his memory live on in the hearts of all who loved him. A memorial service will be held to honor his life with family and friends.
