Mildred “Millie” L. Peel
July 25, 1944 – May 18, 2008
OGDEN – Our loving Millie chose a beautiful Sunday morning to return to her Heavenly home.
Millie was born and raised in Iowa where she was a member of a large family. After starting a family of her own, she moved to Utah where she dedicated her life to raising her three sons.
She was an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints where she held many callings throughout her life.
Millie’s love and concern did not stop with her boys – she had much love to give. She spent much of her life unselfishly caring for others. Her love and compassion touched the lives of all she came in contact with. She will be missed. She was welcomed back home by many family members and friends who preceded her in death, including a baby daughter.
She is survived by her three boys, James Dean (Kat), Michael Shawn, and Rocky Joe, 11 grandchildren and one great-grandchild. She loved being a grandma and was very proud of each of her grandchildren.
Also surviving are her brothers, Kenneth W. Miller and Dean F. Miller, numerous cousins, nieces, nephews and many, many friends.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 11 a.m. at Lindquist’s Ogden Mortuary, 3408 Washington Blvd.
Friends may call at the mortuary on Monday from 6 to 8 p.m. and Tuesday 9:45 to 10:45 a.m.
Interment, Ogden City Cemetery.
