Milo Peterson passed away quietly on Sunday, May 20, 2012.

He was born November 3, 1914 in Marriott, Utah to John and Emily R. Peterson.

On November 21, 1938, Milo married Lavon Child in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. Lavon passed away September 13, 1995.

Their children are Patch (Lauren) Peterson of Hyrum; Judy (Roger) Christensen of Centerville; David (Pam) Peterson of Bountiful; Barbara (Danny) Brown of Marriott-Slaterville; and Eileen a€"deceased (Gerald) Carr.

He later married Elna Clifford, who passed away January 26, 2006.

Milo lived in Roy for over 70 years. He was known for his beautiful yard, garden, and his willingness to share them. Golfing was another one of Milo''s joys, spending many winters residing in St. George. He also loved to dance.

He was a farmer, a mail carrier, and retired from the Ogden Employment Service.

Milo is survived by four children, 25 grandchildren, 57 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.

He was preceded in death by his parents; wives, Lavon Child and Elna Clifford; sisters, Florence Boerens, Arvilla Green; brothers, Theron, Wallace, Victor and Desmond; daughter, Eileen Carr; grandchildren, Lisa Christensen, Celeste Peterson and Levi Brown.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, May 26th at 1 p.m. at Lindquist''s Roy Chapel, 3333 West 5600 South.

The family will meet with friends Friday from 6 to 8 p.m. and Saturday from 11:45a.m. to 12:45 p.m.prior to the services at the mortuary.

Interment, Ogden City Cemetery.
