Milton T. Matsushima
WEST JORDAN - Milton Theodore Matsushima, 56, passed away at his home on Saturday, March 22, 2008 from pneumonia.
Milt was born September 8, 1951 in Ogden, a son of Theodore T. and Mary F. Oda Matsushima. He was raised and educated in Ogden graduating from Bonneville High School in 1969. He then attended Weber State University graduating with a B.A. in Business Management. He also attended Utah Technical College in Salt Lake City.
For the past 27 years, he was employed by Fairchild Semi-Conductor.
Milt had a love of skiing from the age of seven until recently. He was employed by Powder Mountain Ski Resort as a Ski Patrolman. Milt''s other hobbies were sport bike racing and kart racing, fishing, hunting and attending Weber State University football games with his father, Ted.
Milt is survived by his mother, Mary, Ogden; sister, Louise (Chris) Lund, New York City, NY; brothers, Brian R. Matsushima and Joe R. Matsushima, both of Ogden; and nephews, Chris T. and Noah K. Lund, both of San Francisco, CA;
He was preceded in death by his father, Theodore T. Matsushima.
Memorial services will be held Saturday at 3 p.m. at Lindquist''s Ogden Mortuary, 3408 Washington Blvd., with the Reverend Jill Minnich officiating.
Family will greet friends at the mortuary on Saturday from 1:45 to 2:45 p.m.
