Mindy Brown Riding, our beautiful wife, mother, sister, and daughter died, suddenly and unexpectedly, on August 8, 2015.  She was 36 years old.  Mindy was born on May 22, 1979 in South Ogden, UT and graduated from Bonneville High School in 1997.

Mindy’s spontaneous laughter and radiant smile is what we will miss most.  Her children and family were the joys of her life, and they always knew how much she loved them.  Mindy loved boating, hiking in the Utah mountains, relaxing on California beaches, and her daily workouts. She cherished all her friendships, and everyone blessed to know her felt her selfless acts of daily kindness. Mindy was an angel on earth and tried to make everyone else around her better than when she found them.  Our hearts are filled with sadness but also filled with loving memories of Mindy.  We know she is at rest without pain now.  Thank you for all your love and prayers during this difficult time.

Mindy is survived by her husband, Brett Riding; children, Braxton and Breklyn Riding; her father, Robert Blair (Dawn Louise) Brown; her mother, Dana Hassell Brown; siblings, Jared Brown, Jamie Houston, and Andrew Brown; and many nieces, nephews and in-laws. Mindy is also survived by loving grandparents, Carl and Mary Lou Hassell and Robert and Monica Brown.  Preceded in death by her brother, Nathan Carl Brown and her sister, Lindsay Brown Holbrook.

Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. on Saturday, August 15, 2015 at Lindquist’s Ogden Mortuary, 3408 Washington Blvd.  Friends may visit with family on Saturday from 1:30 to 2:30 p.m. at the mortuary.   Interment, Lindquist’s Washington Heights Memorial Park, 4500 Washington Blvd.
