KAYSVILLE - "Mirn" to all she knew passed away in her Kaysville home on Saturday, March 1, 2008.

She was born July 10, 1915 to Richard and Susanna Venable Hamblin. She married Heber J. Gailey in 1932 and moved to Kaysville, where she lived for the remainder of her life.

She worked in cosmetics at Frost''s Drug for 24 years and at Layton Drug for 12 years. After retiring she worked for Kaysville City for an additional12 years. Mirn was a beautiful vibrant, independent woman. She was an avid gardener, keeping her yard immaculate. She enjoyed crocheting, cross-stitch and canning, she won many first place ribbons in the Davis County fair for her talents. She loved her family, friends and poodles with a passion matched by few. She will be missed by all who knew her.

Mirn is survived by her son Guy Gailey, 15 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren and sisters Frankie Barkdull and Fern Graham.

She is preceded in death by her husband, son Max Gailey, 3 brothers, Elton Goldie and Ray Hamblin, sister, Mattie Morton and great-grandson, Dalton Fowers.

The family would like to thank the many friends that have helped her and shared in her life over the years. Thank You.

Grave side services will be held at the Kaysville City Cemetery, Saturday, March 8, 2008 at 2 p.m.
