Mitchel Evans February 21, 1957 – February 4, 2008 OGDEN – Mitchel Evans passed away peacefully on Monday, February 4, 2008 at his home in his sleep. He was a funny, loveable man with a big heart. He was born February 21, 1957 in Ogden, a son of John and Barbara Mobley Evans. Mitchel married Raelynn Sharp on January 28, 1978 in Ogden. He loved going fishing and relaxing by a river, and playing and watching football and basketball. He enjoyed collecting bottles and basketball cards, and most of all, playing with his grandchildren. Surviving are his wife Raelynn, daughters, Alisha Evans, April (Orlando) Levi, son, Courtney (Ashley) Evans and his grandchildren, Trenity and McKiel Levi, Edna Gavin, and one on the way. Also surviving is his mother, Barbara Evans, one brother, John Evans, two nieces and two nephews. Preceding Mitchel in death were his father, grandfather, sisters, nephew, aunts and uncles. He will be deeply missed by all of his friends and family. Graveside services will be held Friday at 11 a.m. at Lindquist’s Washington Heights Memorial Park, 4500 Washington Blvd., where Military Honors will be accorded.
