Mitchell Alfred Cordova, 63, passed away Thursday, June 6, 2019.

He was born November 13, 1955 in Clearfield, Utah to Horace Joseph and Rita Larane Carlson Cordova.

On February 16, 1973, Mitchell married Susan Hess in Roy, Utah. They enjoyed 46 years of marriage together and raised a son and a daughter.

He enjoyed so many things in life, from hunting, fishing, and working with his dogs, to always having time to play a song on his guitar and he never met a gun he did not like. Mitch was able to make friends everywhere he went and he never met a stranger. We will never fill the emptiness his passing has left in our hearts and he will be missed by many.

He is survived by his wife, Susan; children: Shane (Brandee), Kari; grandchild, Shandee (Austin); siblings: Mike (Ann), Eric (Caroline), Lydia (Randy), Nancy (Jeff), and Ramona (Ron). He was preceded in death by his parents.

Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, June 13, 2019 at Lindquist’s Washington Heights Memorial Park, 4500 Washington Blvd., Ogden. The family will meet with friends on Thursday from 9 to 10:30 a.m. at Lindquist’s Roy Mortuary, 3333 West 5600 South.
