Our sweet Monica L. Wheeler passed away unexpectedly in her home, March 17, 2025.

Monica attended Knowlton Elementary, Farmington Junior High School, and Davis High School. She earned a nail technician certification from Davis Applied Technology College and went on to obtain her associates degree later in adulthood.
Monica was a bright and beautiful child. She had a talent for music, and a wonderful singing voice. Monica loved to swim, so much so that in the summer her bright blonde hair would turn green from the chlorine. She took diving lessons as a teenager and was incredibly talented creatively.
Monica proudly served in the United States Air Force; she was honorably discharged after a back injury rendered her unable to continue her service. Her military service was a highlight for her, and she loved that she was able to contribute to her country and serve our nation.
Monica grew up in Farmington, Utah, with her mother, father, and brother John Lindsley. She was baptized as a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Throughout her life she often expressed her love of God and her Savior Jesus Christ. She was a very prayerful woman and had a deep relationship with God through her knowledge of His constant loving hand in her life.
Monica loved to work with her hands, she was an avid crafter and homemaker. She was often found refinishing furniture, painting, crafting, doing home improvements, and often spent time crafting with her grandsons.
Monica married David L. Wheeler in 1997. Monica had two beautiful children, her daughter, Maddison B. (Tanner) Davis; and her son, D. Tyler Wheeler. Monica also has two gorgeous grandsons, Ridge and Boston Davis.
Two years before Monica passed away, she was able to make contact with her biological family, where she shared an instant and deep relationship with her sister, Laura and their brother, Brandon, and their families. Monica was so incredibly happy to have found them and was so grateful for the relationships they shared.
Monica is survived by her son, D. Tyler Wheeler; daughter, Maddison (Tanner) Davis; her grandsons, Ridge and Boston Davis; her parents, W. Richard and Joyce Vellinga Lindsley; and her brother John Lindsley. Monica was preceded in death by her husband, David L. Wheeler.
