Monty Ted Robinson
January 4, 1958 ~ May 22, 2018
Monty Ted Robinson, age 60, passed away peacefully in his Ogden home on Tuesday evening, May 22 2018. He was born in Ogden, UT on January 4, 1958 to Dell Ray Robinson and Nola Jean Hanney. He went to Ben Lomond and had many friends.
He worked as a heavy equipment operator for many companies including Parson's and Ideal Rock.
Monty was an animal lover, he raised German Shepherds and cats. His cats didn't stay long, so he would just get another one.
He was very passionate about life and he was always there for his family. He loved to spend time with his family fishing, camping, playing Monopoly, driving up to play the lotto in Idaho, going to the cutter races, etc. Monty loved to work on cars including his '57 Chevy and his MG. He was a bit of a flirt, always had a wink, his best smile, and pick up line on the ready. When asked, everyone would say "He's an ornery old fart but we love him though." He liked to grow nut trees in his back yard and give them away for Christmas gifts. He and his nuts will be missed.
Monty is survived by his two sons, Shane Ronald (Jenn) Robinson and Monty Mack Robinson; his mother, Nola Jean Robinson; his sister, Mitzie; brother, Kerry Ray; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, Dell Ray and his sister, Gerry Lynn.
