Morgan Lee Rogers
July 22, 1983-November 13, 2014
Morgan Lee Rogers was born July 22, 1983 in Ogden, Utah to parents Cindy and Darrell Rogers. He grew up in Plain City and attended Fremont High School where he enjoyed playing on the football and wrestling teams. He played the cello and was the first chair in the orchestra. After high school, he served a LDS mission to Chicago Illinois.
He was knowledgeable and loved to study history, math and science. He loved sports cars and was eager to share his expertise on them. He wanted to become a mechanic and work on the cars that he loved to study. He taught himself to play the electric guitar, specifically Metallica and other rock groups. He loved to play Guitar Hero and other video games about cars, jets, and sports. He was an avid follower of NFL.
Morgan has spent the last four years living in Brigham City where he was an active member of his apartment community and well liked as he was able to make friends easily. He volunteered in the BC house and helped them raise money by selling peach cobbler during Peach Days in Brigham City. One of his best friends was his cat, Dot.
He is survived by his mother Cindy, siblings Logan and Piper, and grandmother Jacquelynn Johnson. He was preceded in death by his father Darrell, grandparents Ted and Edna Rogers, and grandfather Sid Johnson.
The family would like to thank the staff and his friends at the BC House and Bear River Mental Health for their kindness and friendship.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday November 18, 2014 from 10 to 11:30 a.m. at Lindquist's Ogden Mortuary; 3408 Washington Blvd.
