Muriel "Mary" Dickamore

Muriel “Mary” Dickamore NORTH OGDEN – Muriel “Mary” Chadick Dickamore, 82, surrounded by her family, returned peacefully to our Heavenly Father on Sunday, November 18, 2007 following a brief illness. She was born in Roy, Utah on April 24, 1925, the daughter of Martin and Eunice Chadick. She married Leonard Paul Dickamore on June 9, 1948 in Las Vegas, Nevada. Muriel and Leonard lived in Ogden before moving to North Ogden, where they resided for the past 45 years. Mary was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints North Ogden 20th Ward where she served in various callings. Mary loved and embraced everyone she met. She had many special abilities and gifts, the first being her love for her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She loved gardening, birds, flowers and travel, and she spent her lifetime turning friends and neighbors into family. Mary is survived by her husband, Leonard, a son and daughter, Paul (Ilene) Dickamore and Sue (Doug) Heiner; her grandchildren, Michael (Holly) Dickamore, Staci (Ben) Wright, Mark (Kandice) Dickamore, Summer (Jeff) Stark, Matthew Heiner and Jenasie Heiner; and six great-grandchildren. She is also survived by many loving neighbors and friends whom she loved as family. Mary is preceded in death by a daughter, Jan, her parents, her brother, James, and twin brother, Morris. Also preceding her in death are her beloved friends whom she loved, cared for and served for many years. Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 11 a.m. at Lindquist’s North Ogden Mortuary, 2140 North Washington Blvd. Friends may call at the mortuary on Tuesday from 6 to 8 p.m. and Wednesday 9:45 to 10:45 a.m. Interment, Ogden City Cemetery.
