Myra Louise Reed

Myra Louise Reed, 58, passed away on Sunday, March 2, 2014.  She was born on February 3, 1956 to Harold Kelly and Lois Louise Paris Reed in Brigham City.  She was raised in Clearfield, graduating from Clearfield High School Class of 1973.  She moved to Brigham City to take care of her grandfather.  She has lived in Sunset, Ogden and most recently in Roy.  Myra attended Westminster College where she excelled in foreign language and math sciences.

She worked at IRS in business adjustments for ten years before becoming a telecommuter in the financial industry.  She was the two time winner of the Presidential Award for Relay for Life.  Myra was an avid reader.  Some of her favorite authors include Steven King, Dean Koontz, and Clive Cussler.  She also enjoyed crocheting, crafts, and was a good cook.

Myra is survived by her sisters, Tamara L. Reed and Candace Sant; a niece, Brandy Stefani; great-nephew, Darrian Stefani; and great-niece, Jazzmine Stefani.  She was preceded in death by her parents.

Graveside services will be held on Wednesday, March 19, 2014 at 11 a.m. at Lindquist’s Memorial Gardens of the Wasatch, 1718 Combe Rd.  Services entrusted to Lindquist’s Ogden Mortuary.
