Myrleen Talbot Elliott Taylor Lund

May 15, 1920 ~ May 20, 2014

BEAR RIVER CITY- Our loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, great-great-grandmother, sister, and friend, Myrleen Talbot Elliott Taylor Lund, 94, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, May 20, 2014.  She was born on May 15, 1920 to John Harvey and Larean Penny Talbot in Kanosh, UT.

Myrleen married James Alma Elliott in April 28, 1937 in Kanosh, UT.  They were later divorced.  She married Grant Taylor on May 19, 1947 in Elko, NV.  Grant passed away on October 5, 1970 in Manchester CT.  She married Acel Joseph Lund on January 5, 1985 in Salt Lake City, UT. Acel passed away on November 28, 1994 in Mesa, AZ.  During her marriages she lived in California for a few years, Arizona for 12 years, and finally settled in Utah where she has resided for 79 years.

She worked as a waitress for many years and enjoyed getting to know the people she served.

Myrleen was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints where she served as a Relief Society Teacher and loved serving as a temple worker.

She enjoyed painting, sewing, and crafts and loved to travel.  Her greatest joy was spending time with her family.

Myrleen is survived by her son, Gary (Sharon) Elliott, Bear River City; 11 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren, numerous great-great-grandchildren; sister, Laura (Alvin) Wells, Willard; and several nieces and nephews

She was preceded in death by her two sons, Harvey Dee Elliott and William Keith Elliott; parents, two brothers, Keith Talbot and William Dan Talbot; and sister, Nina Hubbard.

Graveside services will be held on Saturday, June 7, 2014 at 11 a.m. at the Willard City Cemetery.  Friends may visit with family on Friday from 6 to 7 p.m. at Lindquist’s Ogden Mortuary, 3408 Washington Blvd.

Interment, Willard City Cemetery.
