Myrna Eliason Tudor

Myrna Eliason Tudor passed away Tuesday January 14, 2025 at age 84 at Chancellor Gardens in Clearfield, Utah. She was born July 12, 1940 in Logan, Utah to her parents Andrew Leroy Eliason and Erma Alice Christensen Eliason. She is a graduate of Logan High School.

 She married her sweetheart Tom Tudor on January 28, 1967 in Logan, Utah.

 She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, serving as a leader in the Young Women’s Program, Sunday School, and managed the Library. She was called to serve at the Ogden Temple for many years.

 Myrna has lived in West Lafayette, Indiana, Logan, Utah, Salt Lake City, Utah and Layton, Utah.

She deeply loved Layton. She organized yearly Easter Egg Hunts, 4th of July Riata Days celebrations, Santa visits, city light decorating, and running summer concession wagons at the sports games while serving in the Jaycees as Jaycette President in the 1970’s. She was also a member of the Daughters of the Utah Pioneers.

 She loved cooking, sewing, dancing (where she met Tom), movies, learned fencing, loved art, crocheting, needle point, puzzles, her flower garden, and crossword puzzles.

 Myrna is survived the love of her life Tom Tudor of 57 years, daughter’s; Rita (George), Lara (Donald), Mindy (Chet), grandchildren, Melanie, Micheal, Tawnee (Kasey), Marina (Parker), Codie (Adam), Carson, Callie, and 10 great grandchildren (and counting).

 She was preceded in death by two babies, both parents, two brothers and two sisters.

 The family wishes to thank the many doctors and care givers who took care of her. Thank you to the staff at Chancellor Gardens who have become family.

 Funeral services will be held Monday January 20, 2025 at 2:00 p.m. at Lindquist’s Layton Mortuary, 1867 N. Fairfield Rd., Layton, Utah. Family and friends may visit Sunday January 19 from 6 to 8 p.m. and Monday from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. at the mortuary.

 Interment, Lindquist’s Memorial Park at Layton.
