Myrtle James Pebley

Myrtle James Pebley was born on May 23, 1920. She was the daughter of William Henry and Lydia Foster James, Myrtle was the 9th of 10 children. That fiery redhead fought her way through life. On Friday April 8, 2011, the Lord convinced her "it''s time to come home".

Myrtle James married Clyde Pebley on March 16, 1937 and built an empire of 4 children, 10 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren, 11 great-great-grandchildren.

Throughout Myrts life she never surrended herself to the temptations of technology. Her handwritten cards of occasion to the privy were well received, appreciated and treasured the most. A phone call with Myrts voice at the other end was unforgettable. She never lost her humor and quick wit. No text message could ever replace the call. The names in her address book were more valuable than any social network group. Myrtle would never delete you from her life or thoughts. Myrtle made it a practice to always say please and thank you as part of her daily vocabulary.

She appreciated every gesture made and took nothing for granted. She was very charitable whenever opportunity arose, never thinking or benefitting herself. She had many trials in life but never lost faith or humility. Through her example others have found strength. She always had a smile on her face and love in her heart for everyone. To Myrt "love is the most fantastic emotion". She touched the lives of many and will remain unforgettable. The names Myrtle James Pebley will bring a smile to many who had the privilege of knowing this beautiful lady.

She is survived by Darrell (Sharon) Pebley, Sun City West AZ; Carolyn Tingey, Ogden, Ut; Kevin (Rachelle) Pebley, Perry, Ut; and Faye (Mel deceased) Roy, Ut, sister Velma Stacey, Rigby, ID; many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and friends.
