Myrtle Adell Terkelson Rackham
Myrtle Adell Terkelson Rackham of Ogden, 75, passed away August 4, 2012 in Ogden of natural causes.
She was born September 19, 1936, in Salt Lake City, UT a daughter of Carlos Payne and Myrtle Irene Ames Terkelson.
Myrtle married Karl Lyle Rackham, April 22, 1955, in Ogden, UT. They lived in California for a short time before moving back to Ogden. They have been married 57 years.
She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints Ogden 40th Ward and received her endowments on September 19, 1990. She enjoyed her volunteer work running concessions at the Terrace Plaza Playhouse for many years. She was also an avid bowler for over 30 years. Most of all, she enjoyed hosting her monthly family parties.
Surviving is her husband and two daughters, Karl Lyle Rackham, Ogden, UT; Kim Jean Call, Syracuse, UT, and Terri Lynn Beecher, Roy, UT; 10 grandchildren, Chad (Laura) Call, Brennan (Mindy) Call, Justin (Melissa) Beecher, Travis (Jennifer) Beecher, Aspen (Jesse) McKenna, Kelly (Terri) Call, Curtis (Ashley) Call, Brenda Call, Matthew (Rhonda) Beecher, Chase Beecher and 21 great-grandchildren; 1 brother, Dick (Pat) Terkelson and 1 sister, Karen Tafoya both of Ogden, Utah.
She was preceded in death by both parents and 3 brothers, Carlos (Veva) Terkelson, Rex (Marge) Terkelson, and Bud (Charlene) Terkelson.
Graveside services will be held on Thursday, August 9, 2012 at 11 a.m. at Lindquist''s Washington Heights Memorial Park, 4500 Washington Blvd. Friends may visit with family on Wednesday from 6 to 8 p.m. at Lindquist''s Ogden Mortuary, 3408 Washington Blvd.
