N. LaRae Owen
LaRae Owen, born on July 28, 1939 in Orangeville, Utah, passed away on Sunday, September 2, 2012, peacefully in her home in Ogden, Utah.
She was a strong person with the strength that her family both immediate and extended looked up to, and she will be deeply missed in this life. She was the family leader for travel and also keeping the family bonded together. She was always a good friend to people she met. And anyone that she came into contact with she took in as her own and made them feel like family. She lived a Christ like life, where she gave to all and didn’t expect anything in return. She is a light of hope and strength that this world will miss for years to come.
LaRae is survived by her spouse, Kenneth Owen; three children Leslie Gail Keele, Kenneth Ray Owen and Gary Wayne Owen that will miss her very much; four sisters, three brothers, eight grandchildren, one great grandchild and many family members and friends that will miss her too.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, Vernon Keele and two sons, Gary Wayne Keele and Jason Dean Owen.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, September 8, 2012 at 11 a.m. Lindquist’s Ogden Mortuary, 3408 Washington Blvd. Friends may visit with family on Friday from 6 to 8 p.m. and Saturday from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. at the mortuary.
