NORTH OGDEN a€" NaDene J. Jensen, 92, died Wednesday, August 18, 2010 at her home in North Ogden.

She was born December 4, 1917 in North Ogden, a daughter of John Henry and Marian M. Jones Johnson.

NaDene married Willie M. Jensen on April 19, 1941 in Morgan, UT. Their marriage was later solemnized in the Ogden LDS Temple. Willie preceded her in death in 1986.

She was raised and educated in North Ogden graduating from Weber High School.

NaDene was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints where she served in various callings including Primary and Relief Society Presidencies, Ward Librarian, Visiting Teacher and Special Needs Primary teacher.

She worked at LDS Hospital, Ogden Arsenal, and the Weber County School Lunch program. Her most important role was that of mother and homemaker.

NaDene enjoyed quilting, reading, gardening and her flowers. She loved babies and being a mother and grandmother.

Surviving are four daughters, Betty (Dick) Keyes, West Valley City; Judith Jensen, Salt Lake City; Lana (Gary) Burnham, North Ogden; Lona (Tony) Taylor, Farr West; 14 grandchildren and 24 great-grandchildren.

Also surviving are one brother and three sisters, Grant Johnson, Napa, CA; Polly Rees, North Ogden; LaVon Russell, Ogden; Laura Berry, North Ogden.

Preceding NaDene in death were her parents, husband, four siblings and one grandson, Jason Helgeson.

Funeral services will be held Saturday at 11 a.m. at Lindquist''s North Ogden Mortuary, 2140 North Washington Blvd., with Bishop Troy Wessman officiating.

Family will visit with friends at the mortuary on Friday from 6 to 8 p.m. and Saturday 9:45 to 10:45 a.m.

Interment, Ben Lomond Cemetery.
