Nadine Bennett Adams, 83, passed away Wednesday, November 4, 2015.

She was born April 25, 1932 in Ogden, Utah to Philip John and Maude Walker Bennett. She lived most of her life in Utah, briefly Kansas, Idaho and California. She graduated from Davis High in 1950.

During her life time, Nadine was married to Alfred B. Ostrup, Jr., Allois W. Schlottmann and Allan Adams.

She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, where she was proud to have the opportunity to receive her endowments and visit the Temple.

Nadine was a very conscientious and hard worker. Her most extensive history was with Hill Air Force Base and Clearfield Job Corps.

She enjoyed beautifying her home, especially the yard and was a master at making the most of humble means.

Nadine is survived by her children, Steven Ostrup, Eden; Sherry (Darrell) Tuttle, Riverdale; Lisa Spencer, Roy; six grandchildren; one brother, Reed (Jean) Bennett; and one sister, Beverly (LaGrande) Belnap and a sister-in-law, Susan Bennett. She was preceded in death by her parents, a sister, LaFaye (Vic) Atkinson, and a brother, Sherm Bennett,

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, November 13, 2015 at the Syracuse 3rd Ward Chapel, 2679 South 1000 West. The family will meet with friends Thursday from 6 to 8 p.m. at Lindquist’s Layton Mortuary, 1867 North Fairfield Rd. and Friday from 9:45 to 10:45 a.m. at the church.
