Nadine Thompson Fowers passed away peacefully at home Tuesday, September 4, 2012.

She was born October 15, 1952 in Ogden, Utah to Laurin L. Thompson and Marcella Balls Thompson Ronk.

On July 5, 1995, Nadine married her soul mate, Doug Fowers, at her favorite setting, Mustang Ridge at Flaming Gorge.

Nadine was employed at Chromalox for 30 years, primarily working in the Quality Inspection Group. Her high standards, attention to detail and her ability to work with her associates brought quality products to their customers.

She always made true friends easily because of her caring nature. Nadine''s passion was for family and friends, always ready and willing to help out or talk through any trying times. Nadine loved to be in the outdoors camping, riding ATV''s and especially, fishing.

Nadine was an avid reader, she would have a book with her were ever she was. Nadine''s mom instilled the love of reading at a very young age, and she carried that passion throughout her life. She would read anything from American history to romance novels. Her kids and grandkids were the light of her life. Nadine always loved being involved with her family and friends bringing her soft loving and caring nature to any gathering.

She is survived by her husband, Doug; her son, Dean (Becky) Stokes, Pleasant View; step-children, Lisa Fowers Priore, Stirling, NJ; Jason Fowers (Heather East), Roy; eight grandchildren; and her siblings, Elaine and James Davis, Reese, UT; Carol and Vic Dana, Rock Springs, WY; Denise and Max Neff, Crescent City, CA; Dennis and Jeri Thompson, South Weber, UT.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, September 11th at 11 a.m. at Lindquist''s Roy Mortuary, 3333 West 5600 South.

The family will meet with friends Monday from 6 to 8 p.m. and Tuesday from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. at the mortuary.

Interment, Lindquist''s Washington Heights Memorial Park, 4500 Washington Blvd.
