Nakysha Marie Campbell

Nakysha Marie Campbell, "Firecracker", 30, passed away Sunday, March 8, 2009 at her home.

She was born January 26, 1979 in Logansport, Indiana to Randy Allen Townsend and Tauttanni Yvette Poppenhouse.

On July 24, 1999, Nakysha married Benjamin Jason Campbell in Layton, Utah.

She was a loving, caring mother who was devoted to her children. She was nurturing and caring and showed her compassion to those less fortunate. She was a caregiver to the disabled and she thoroughly enjoyed her job.

Nakysha is survived by her husband, Benjamin; two children, Gabriel Jason Campbell and Tiana Yvonne Campbell; her parents, Tauttanni Yvette McQuiddy, Clint Edward McQuiddy, Lucinda Marie Townsend; two brothers, Tyrone Edward McQuiddy, Jeffrey Scott Johnson; two sisters, Shawna Mary McQuiddy, Brianna Lynn Townsend; her grandmother, Dorothy Carol McQuiddy (Chuck) Hurley; and many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

She was preceded in death by her father, Randy Allen Townsend, and her grandparents, Dorothy Lynn Poppenhouse, William Franklyn Poppenhouse, Buford Wilson McQuiddy, Marie Daily-McQuiddy, Carol Townsend and Richard Townsend.

Memorial services will be held Friday, March 13th at 2:00 p.m. at Lindquist''s Roy Mortuary, 3333 West 5600 South.

Friends and family may call Friday from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. at the mortuary.
