Nam V. Cam
Nam V. Cam, 66, passed away Saturday, July 14, 2012 with his family by his side in Clearfield, Utah.
He was born June 6, 1946 in Vinh Long, Vietnam. Nam devoted his youth as an active Buddhist. As a young man, he joined the South Vietnam military and ranked as 2nd lieutenant. He migrated to the United States in 1996 to strive for better futures for his family.
Mr. Cam is survived by his spouse, Trinh Vo; two sons; three daughters; two grandchildren; and three siblings.
Though short, his life was well spent as a devoted Buddhist, filial son, caring brother, loving husband, affectionate father, wonderful grandpa, and loyal friend.
Graveside services will be held Wednesday, July 18, 2012 at 11 a.m. at Lindquist’s Memorial Park at Layton, 1867 No. Fairfield Road. Friends may visit family Wednesday from 9 to 10:30 a.m. at Lindquist’s Layton Mortuary, 1867 No. Fairfield Road.
Mr. Cam’s family would like to give our thanks to Dr. Vincent Hansen, Deanna Bojanower and their staff; Dr. Leslye Ingersoll, Dr. Gary Whipple and the radiation oncology team; the McKay Dee Hospital’s excellent staff; E.N.T doctors; Dr. Gordon Watson and the Radiation Oncology Team; IHC Home Care Team; friends and relatives for all the care and support. Each have made his difficult journey bearable.
