LAYTON a€" Nancy Cordon born January 31, 1930 peacefully passed away Friday, June 20, 2008 surrounded by her loving husband and family after a very long battle with Alzheimer''s disease; for the last year she had been cared for by Harmony Hospice.

Nancy is survived by her loving husband of 57 years Lyman (Steve) Cordon, son Gary (Donna) of Layton, daughter Pamela (Larry) Wing, Rocklin, California; seven grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.

Nancy had many interests that she actively pursued before succumbing to Alzheimer''s such as gourmet cooking, reading, crossword puzzles, camping, fishing, singing and ballroom dancing.

Nancy is preceded in death by her mother Belle Jandreau, father Eli Jandreau, brothers Norman and Reginald.

Graveside services will be held Thursday, June 26, 2008 at 2 p.m. at Lindquist''s Memorial Park at Layton, 1867 No. Fairfield Road. Friends and family may call Thursday from 12:45 to 1:45 p.m. at Lindquist''s Layton Mortuary, 1867 No. Fairfield Road.

The family would like to extend a special thanks to Harmony Hospice for their undying support and a special thanks to care givers CNA Natalie and RN Jude and to Motion Memories Ms. Sherma Jillson for her video presentation depicting Nancy''s Life.

In lieu of flowers the family suggests donations be made to the Alzheimer''s Foundation.
