Nancy Ruth Gehrig

Nancy Ruth Gehrig PLEASANT VIEW - Nancy Ruth Gehrig, 76, passed away Friday, January 22, 2010 from a long 55 year battle with Multiple Sclerosis. She was born on May 21, 1933 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin to Clarence B. and Hildegarde (Dietrich) Ringham. Nancy attended Stevens College and Bradley University, majoring in Dietetics. She married Robert G. Gehrig on July 23, 1955 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. They also resided in New Jersey and Michigan before settling in Utah in 1978. Nancy was a loving wife and a great mother and grandmother. Nancy was a member of the Lutheran faith. She is survived by her husband, two daughters, Suzanne R. (Michael) Furman and Elizabeth A. (Maurice Jr.) Brunell, and four grandchildren: Samuel, Seth, Daniel and Abigail. Preceding her in death are her parents, brother Clark and her beloved dog “Taffy”. The family would like to thank the staff and friends at Mt. Ogden Health and Rehabilitation Center and a special thank you to the physical therapy staff. Funeral services will be Tuesday, January 26, 2010 at 2 p.m. at Lindquist’s North Ogden Mortuary, 2140 North Washington Blvd. Friends and family may call Tuesday from 12:45 to 1:45 p.m. at the mortuary.
