ROY a€" Nancy Louise Marshall, passed away Sunday, June 14, 2009 at her home. She was 79 years old. She is now with "her Jimmy" who passed away four weeks ago.

She was born March 8, 1931 in Santa Monica, California the daughter of Charles and Elizabeth Collins.

Nancy married James Howard Marshall on July 10, 1955 at Hamilton Field, CA.

Nancy was Episcopalian and attended St. Catherines Boarding School in San Rafael, California.

She loved reading, writing short stories and cooking. She was a member of the NCO Wives Club serving in different offices for many years. Nancy loved dogs and had several over the years including her beautiful collies. Our mother loved the ocean and was an avid swimmer, loving the time she spent on the beaches of Northern California.

She is survived by her children, Elizabeth (Joe) Rivera, Nancy (John) Murphy, James Marshall, Charles (Erika) Marshall, Robin (Eric) Helton, daughter-in-law, Kim Marshall, 21 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren.

Preceded in death by her husband James H. Marshall, sons Matthew D. Marshall, William Treanor and daughter Lynn Treanor.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, June 20, 2009 at 11 a.m. at Lindquist''s Layton Mortuary, 1867 No. Fairfield Road. Friends and family may call Saturday from 9:45 to 10:45 a.m. at the mortuary.

Interment, Lindquist''s Memorial Park at Layton, 1867 No. Fairfield Road.
