Nancy "Elaine" Morris Martin

Nancy “Elaine” Martin KAYSVILLE – Nancy “Elaine” Martin loving wife, mother and friend, age 78, died Friday, January 16, 2009 at home in Kaysville with her family at her side. Born September 28, 1930 to Joe and Lillian Morris in Trinidad, CO. She married Walter “Walt” R. Martin April 7, 1951 in Raton, NM. Walt and Elaine managed Davis Lanes in Layton, UT for many years. Elaine enjoyed Bowling, gardening and many crafts. Surviving are her children, Terry L. (Roze), Kaysville, UT; daughter, Patricia (Dan) Smith, Phoenix, AZ; five grandsons, two great grandchildren and one on the way, brother, Roy (Viola) Morris, Hoene, CO; and many nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by her parents, husband, son, Larry Dean, brother Ray Morris. The family is grateful for the support and care of Caregiver Support Network Hospice, especially Leigh Burk, RN, Christi and all the aides who made Elaine’s final days comfortable. At Elaine’s request there will be no public service. Cremation will be under the direction of Lindquist’s Mortuary. Funeral Directors, Lindquist’s Kaysville Mortuary, 400 North Main Street.
