Nancy Lee Muir

Nancy Lee Guy Muir, 58, passed away peacefully Monday, June 23, 2008 at home surrounded by her family.

She was born September 23, 1949 in Logan, Utah to Don William and Mary VaLee Coburn Guy. She graduated from Davis High School.

On June 10, 1994, Nancy married Clyde W. Muir, Jr., in Ogden, Utah.

She had been employed at Hill Air Force Base as a supply technician. Nancy was a member of the American Legion Post 134, and the Lady Elks.

She enjoyed fishing, golfing, family cook-outs, gardening, and spending time with her many friends.

Nancy is survived by her husband, Clyde; three sons, Billy (Marni) Rausch, Roy; Jacob Benedict, CA; Trenton (Drew) Muir, Layton; four daughters, Kimber (Mike) Covert, West Point; Eva (Troy) Holland, Sunset; Mindy (Marty) Nott, Syracuse; Stephanie (Ryan) Wilson, Clearfield; and all those who called her mom; 17 grandchildren; one great-grandchild, and two on the way; her parents, Don and VaLee Guy; and a sister, Allison Lin Reuther.

She was preceded in death by a brother, Jon William Guy.

Memorial services will be held Monday, June 30th at 11 a.m. at Lindquist''s Roy Mortuary, 3333 West 5600 South.

The family will meet friends on Monday from 9:45 to 10:45 a.m., at the mortuary.

The family wishes to express sincere thanks to Legacy Hospice, the doctors and staff at McKay-Dee Hospital and her friends for all the love and support. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
