Naomi Bell

Naomi Bell Naomi Todd Bell, age 98, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and great-great-grandmother, passed away peacefully at Willow Creek Memory Care West of Las Vegas. Naomi was born February 1, 1914, in Roosevelt, Utah. One of the most cherished highlights of Naomi’s life was serving an LDS Mission in North Carolina with her husband, Henry. She was preceded in death by her husband, Henry L. Bell of 56 years. Since her husband’s death in 1994, Naomi lived in Fullerton, California for 10 years and Las Vegas for the past eight years. Naomi retired from Hill Air Force Base after 20 years of service and became a fulltime grandmother. She was a devoted member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, where she served in many callings. She especially enjoyed music and continued to playing the piano just a week before her death. The resident and staff at Willow Creek Memory Care will greatly miss the entertainment she provided. Naomi is survived by her daughter, Janet (Clair) Howes; grandchildren, Lindee (Brian) Parker, Michelle (Mike) Wilson, Jeff (Ann), Scott (Dayl), Brent (Kim), Doug (Tara) and Ryan (Vanessa); daughter, Donna Pendleton; grandchildren, Todd (Linda), Nolan (Annette), Chad (Holly) and Nicole Dinsdale; 36 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, February 2, 2013 at 1 p.m. at Lindquist’s Ogden Mortuary, 3408 Washington Blvd. Friends may visit with family on Saturday from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at the mortuary. The family would like to thank the caregivers at Willow Creek Memory Care for the great love and care they provided for Naomi the last 17 months of her life.
