1978-2018

Nate Padley, beloved husband, son, father, brother, uncle, nephew, and friend of thousands flew away from this world on April 2, 2018.  He went to join his beloved son Tonio, and his crazy, beautiful brother Aspen.  They are together now and the music they’re making will fill the universe with beauty.

Nate is survived by his wife, Heather; their daughters, Lux, and Avi; his Mama, Carole Hunt Hanson; sister, Lisa Adamson; brothers, Miguel Peterson and Matt Padley; special aunt Linda Hayward nephews and a niece; father, Rick Padley; and countless family and friends around the world.  Preceded in death by his beautiful son, Tonio, his prince, and his brother/soul friend, Aspen Hunt.

Nate was an extraordinarily gifted man and musician, renowned and admired in the Utah music scene and was “Big in Japan.”  Without being able to read a note, he could hear the simplest chords and could create a masterful symphony.  His music touched hearts, souls and lives. His ridiculous and relentless sense of humor brought laughter to so many and will be unending.  He loved to take his “Girls” to the family cabin at Fish Lake.  He loved his wife, children, family, friends and his Mama Bird!

N8, you will be sorely missed.  Go fly with the birds and become stardust!
