CLEARFIELD a€" Nathan Edward Slaugh, 38, passed away Tuesday, December 21, 2010 at his home.

He was born October 25, 1972 in Pocatello, Idaho the son of Laird Dwight and Nancy Jane Schlueter Slaugh. Nathan lived in Pocatello, Idaho until 1978 when he moved to Layton. He resided in Layton until 2003 moving to Clearfield where he resided until his death.

He was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

Nathan loved computers and being an uncle. He was everyone''s friend. Nathan was a loyal friend and a good listener with a marvelous sense of humor.

Surviving are his parents, Clearfield; grandmother, Maxine Schlueter, Le Sueur, MN; three brothers, Dwight A. (Regina) Slaugh, Spanish Fork; Jesse A. Slaugh, Clearfield; Benjamin L. Slaugh, Albuquerque, NM; and numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

Preceded in death by his grandparents.

Funeral services will be held Monday, December 27, 2010 at 11 a.m. at Lindquist''s Layton Mortuary, 1867 No. Fairfield Road. Friends may visit family on Monday from 9:45 to 10:45 a.m. at the mortuary. Interment, Lindquist''s Memorial Park at Layton, 1867 No. Fairfield Road.
