Ned Lynn Favero
Ned Lynn Favero, Sr. died April 8, 2012. He was born Jan. 26, 1939 to Hazel and Giovanni Favero in Taylor, Utah. He married his high school best friend Margaret Blair on August 18, 1964 in the Salt Lake Temple.
Rarely is one person capable of giving so many unique gifts to the people around them. Ned showed us to remember to look at our environment and see its beauty, the trees, the mountains and valleys, the horses and other animals. Beauty is in everything around us. He was able to listen to wedding dreams and create through decor, color, floral arrangements and food, memories that would last a lifetime. We are lucky he was able to share his unique gift with so many people. He taught us food should have flavor and be enjoyed. It should especially be presented with flair and served on a designer table. He was amazing with color and design. He showed us holidays are for celebrating and decorating. Each holiday occasion brought an exciting and wonderful display. He reminded us if a person is going to bother getting dressed, they should do it well with style and a hat. He taught us to work hard. He taught us to care about other people and to be loyal. We will cherish these gifts and the many others he shared with everyone. When reminiscing and passing these gifts on we will remember to use these words: creative, amazing, innovative, unconventional, collector, jokester, sarcastic, fun, demanding and loving. Ned was extremely talented with a great sense of humor. Dad’s greatest accomplishment is the feeling and emotion his creations gave to everyone. Papa was a great artist. Papa was great, funny, and a caring man. He was loved by many. We will truly miss him.
Ned is preceded in death by his parents Hazel and Giovanni Favero, in-laws Zella and Seth Blair, brothers Giovanni (John), Lorenzo (Bud), Roberto (Bob), Frank and Victor. He is survived by his wife Maggie, his children N. Lynn Favero Jr., FaLesha Cooper (Dustin Troy) and grandson Logan Troy Cooper. He is also survived by his sister Madeline Layton and brothers Giacomo (Jim), Carlo (Carl), Daniel (Dan), Paulo (Paul), Edward (Ted), Kenneth (Ken) and Thomas (Tom).
