Neioma Herrera Chavira, loving wife and mother, passed away on December 20, 2017. Neioma was the daughter of Paul and Sylvia Martinez Herrera. She was born on September 13, 1953 in Ogden, Utah. Neioma graduated from Ogden High School class of 1971.

On December 31, 1977, she married the love of her life, Jose Chavira, at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Ogden, UT.

Neioma loved to spend time with her beautiful daughter, Alexandria. Neioma loved to read, spend time with her family, shop, and go to movies. She retired from IRS after 26 years of service.

Neioma is survived by her husband, Jose; daughter, Alexandria; siblings, Paul, John, and Irene; niece, Teri Greenwell; and aunt, Mary Herrera. She was preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Trina; and siblings, Clovie, Nick, Maggie, Josie, and Filberto.
