Nephi Leialoha Needham

Nephi passed away on January 21, 2013, after battling to recover from a fall that fractured his back. He resided in Ogden, Utah and was 91 years old.

Nephi was born in Kalopa, Hawaii to parents Piilani K. and George Needham. He was married to MayDeil Herbert Needham who passed away in 2001.

He attended Kamehameha Schools in Hawaii, was a World War II veteran and retired from Emerson Electric in 1991. He was a Mason and a member of the Presbyterian Church. Nephi was a volunteer with senior citizen and veteran groups in Ogden.

Survived by son, Michael Needham Leialoha and daughter-in-law Karen E. Leialoha of Hilo, Hawaii; three grandchildren, Patricia S. Cervini of Washington D.C.; Michael L. Needham of Kurtistown, Hawaii and Kalaeone K. Needham of Las Vegas, Nevada; three great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

Graveside services will be held on February 22, 2013 at 1:00 pm, at Lindquist''s Memorial Gardens of the Wasatch, 1718 Combe Road. Services entrusted to Lindquist''s Ogden Mortuary.
