Nicholas James Morse

August 5, 1985 ~ January 18, 2015

Nicholas James Morse, 29, died tragically from injuries sustained in a car accident on Sunday, January 18, 2015.  He was born on August 5, 1985, the son of Kenneth James and Wendy Kaye Carson Morse in Ogden, Utah.  He was raised in Riverdale.  Nick also lived briefly in Roy as a child and settled in Sunset where he resided since his grandfather, William J. Morse, passed away in November.

He married Alicia Ann Cragun on October 7, 2006.

Nick worked as a printing pressman for Malnove of Utah.

He was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

Nick was very active.  He loved going to the gym with his brothers, and also hiking, camping, and enjoyed watching football.  His favorite team was the Raiders.  More than anything he loved spending time with his kids.  They were everything to him.  He would drop anything to make time for them.

Nick is survived by his son, Gaven James Morse, Layton; daughter, Aylee Jaide Morse, Ogden; parents, Kenneth James and Wendy Kaye Morse, Riverdale; siblings, Cody (Stephanie) Carson, West Point; Brittany (Kevin) Kelly, North Ogden; Mitch R. Morse and Cheyenne Morse both of Riverdale; grandparents, Sharon R. Morse, Ogden and Leland “Lee” and Kay Carson, Roy; and many nieces and nephews and cousins.  He was preceded in death by his grandfather, William J. Morse.

Graveside services will be held on Monday, January 26, 2015 at 10 a.m. at Lindquist’s Washington Heights Memorial Park, 4500 Washington Blvd.  Services entrusted to Lindquist’s Ogden Mortuary.
