OGDEN a€" Nicholas Eugene Smith, 21, returned to his Heavenly Father on January 9, 2013. He was born December 27, 1991 in Ogden, Utah to Brandi Prescott Pembelton and Doyle Smith.

He loved skateboarding, hanging out with his friends, gun ranges, hiking, and ''his Dallas Cowboys.''

Nick is survived by his parents, Brandi and Brandon Pembelton, father, Doyle Smith; brother, Justin Prescott; grandparents, Zella Smith, Rick and Sherry Barnett, and Paul and Shirley Prescott; and by his nieces Shianne and Haylee.

He was preceded in death by his grandpa, Cecil Smith, and great-grandparents Alice and Harold Teuscher.

The family wishes to thank their extended family and friends for their compassion.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, January 17th at 2:00 p.m. at Lindquist Ogden Mortuary, 3408 Washington Blvd. Friends may visit with family on Wednesday, January 16th from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. and on Thursday from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. at the mortuary.

Cremation to follow.

In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorial contributions be made to the Nicholas Smith Memorial Fund at any branch of America First Credit Union.
