Nguyen Thi Hue a€" Nilda H. Elmore

Nguyen Thi Hue a€" Nilda H. Elmore was born in Vietnam July 10, 1950 and died September 14, 2010 after a year long battle with cancer, her fight ended peacefully at home with her family by her side.

She is survived by her loving husband, six children, and 13 grandchildren whom have traveled from as far as Texas, Alabama, and South Carolina.

She will always be remembered as a strong, loving and caring wife, mother, grandmother, and friend, and we will all miss her dearly.

Surviving is her loving husband, Daniel Elmore, children: Eric Carus, Taunya Bartlett, Linda Hopewell, Jennifer McBride, Chris Elmore, and Crystal Rivers, grandchildren: Caitlyn Bartlett (14), Trevon McBride (14), Jayden Carus (13), Christopher Daniel Elmore Jr. (12), Riley McBride (11), Ethan Hernandez (10), Nehoa McBride (10), Emily Bartlett (9), Jaylene Elmore (8), Brooklyn Bartlett (6), Gracelyn McBride (5), Gavin Rivers (3), Wyatt Logan Rivers (7 months).

We would like to express our deep appreciation and gratitude to Huntsman''s Cancer Institute, Ogden Regional Medical Center, and Legacy Health Care. The doctors, nurses, and staff were amazing and brought comfort and peace to all of us.

Mom... "Our Rock," our foundation. We are at peace knowing you are at rest and finally home with your mother and father. One day we will all see you again until then you are always in our thoughts, hearts, and minds.

We will all miss you tremendously. We Love You Mom!

Funeral services will be held Saturday, September 18, 2010 at 11 a.m. at Lindquist''s Layton Mortuary, 1867 No. Fairfield Road. Friends may visit family Friday from 6 to 8 p.m. and Saturday from 9:45 to 10:45 a.m. at the mortuary. Interment, Lindquist''s Memorial Park at Layton, 1867 No. Fairfield Road.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Huntsman''s Cancer Institute.
