CLEARFIELD a" Nina Lee Brandt Smith, 88, passed away Monday, September 10, 2012
She was born June 23, 1924 in Cedaredge, Colorado daughter of Charles Walter and Frances Elizabeth Dolph Brandt.
Nina married Earnest Edward Smith on November 21, 1945 in Sunset, Utah. They are the parents of five children. Earnest passed away August 29, 1985
She lived in Cedaredge, CO.; Silver Springs, ME; Gilman, CO; Wellington, Clearfield and Ogden, UT since 1965 except for 9 months in Tel Aviv, Israel and 3 months in Madrid, Spain.
She was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
Her children and especially her grandchildren were her biggest hobbie. She traveled throughout the world to High School graduations of all her grandchildren.
Surviving is her son, Stephen Dale Smith, Lynnwood, WA; daughters, Linda Lee Smith Inman, Amalga, UT; Joan Elizabeth Smith, West Haven, UT; Lisa Ann Smith Hamilton, Austin, TX; Marianne Smith Bingham, Boulder City, NV; 12 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren. Also surviving are her sisters, Barbara Jean Brant Klements, Las Vegas, NV; Alice Elizabeth Brant Lavato Ivie, Grand Junction, CO; and Beverley Jane Brandt Chambers, Rifle, Colorado.
Preceded in death by her parents, husband, sons, Walter Alfred Smith and Charles Edward Smith.
Graveside services will be held Friday, September 14, 2012 at 3 p.m. at Lindquist''s Memorial Gardens of the Wasatch, 1718 Combe Road, So. Ogden.
Services entrusted to Lindquist''s Layton Mortuary, 1867 No. Fairfield Road.
