Noal L. Damron

Noal Lindsey Damron passed away Friday, February 14, 2014 at the age of 75.  Born on October 29, 1938 in Smithers, West Virginia to Oscar W. and Ocie Spry Damron, he was the fourth of seven siblings.  He graduated from Logan High School in Logan, West Virginia, completing 12 years without missing a single day of school and walking 5 miles uphill both ways, it was more than an accomplishment!  He later graduated from Weber State University in Ogden, Utah with a degree in Logistics.

He joined the US Air Force upon graduating High School and retired in 1976, a member of the Air Force Red Dogs and a proud member of the Air Commandos; he served in Vietnam as well as other tours.  A lifelong member of the VFW and American Legion, in addition to the National Associating of Naval Photographers, and BPOE Post 719.  Noal enjoyed all sports and everything outdoors, but especially hunting.   He travelled the world and the United States extensively in both military and non-military capacities and was well respected on several continents and in many countries.

On January 9, 1961 he married the love of his life Anne Marie Parison and they recently celebrated their 54 th anniversary.  They had two sons Marc Damron (Shelley), Taylorsville, UT; and Jean-Paul N. Damron (Shelly), Centerville, UT.  He also leaves behind three grandkids, Tyler, Krystal and Rachael and one great-grandson all of whom he enjoyed being around most of the time!  He is survived by three brothers and two sisters; he was preceded in death by one brother and parents.

At Noal’s request there will be no services.
