SOUTH WEBER a€" Beloved husband, father and grandfather, Noal Thomas Evans, 81, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, July 25, 2012 surrounded by his loving wife and family.

He was born December 15, 1930 in Layton, Utah the son of Glen and Margaret Ellen Forbes Evans. He was raised by his parents Glen and Hortense Adams Evans after Margaret passed away.

Noal married the love of his life and best friend Grace Mecham on September 10, 1950 in Evanston, Wyoming. Their marriage was later solemnized in the Salt Lake LDS Temple.

He attended Davis High School and excelled in wrestling, football and art. He was employed by Swift and Company, Davis Animal Control and shod horses for 50 years.

He was an Elder in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and served as a home teacher.

His interests include outdoors, horses and he shared his loved of those interests with family and friends.

He excelled in Rodeo (steer wrestling and calf roping), chariot racing (world champion 4th division), organized the Davis County Fair Jr. Rodeo and So. Weber Jr. Rodeo. He was an avid hunter and fisherman.

Surviving are his wife Grace of 62 years, children, Susan (Steve) Morlock, Noaleen Bo (Hugh) Holman, Kay Lynn (Gary) Grant, Cindy (Brent) Bitton, Todd (Sandy) Evans, Connie (Bryan) Malone, Cheri (Kelly) Goss, Heidi (Judd) Kendall, Scott (Trish) Evans, 36 grandchildren, 27 great-grandchildren and two more on the way, brothers, LaGrand, Otis, Bob, Ralph, sisters, Norma, Carol and Ruth.

Preceded in death by his parents, earthly mother, Hortense Meda Hansen Adams, brothers, Diamond, Harold, Willis, sister, Annie Moe and great-grandson, Triston.

Funeral services will be held Monday, July 30, 2012 at 11 a.m. at Lindquist''s Layton Mortuary, 1867 No. Fairfield Road. Friends may visit family on Sunday from 6 to 8 p.m. and Monday from 9:45 to 10:45 a.m. at the mortuary. Interment, Uintah Cemetery.

Honey-Dad-Grandpa-We love you so much and will strive to live each day to honor the legacy you have left us. Our lives are forever better because you made it a priority to be involved in them. Families are forever and ever!
