LAYTON – Noble Lawrence Lindberg, Jr., 82, passed away Monday, April 27, 2015. He was born November 2, 1932 in Park Rapids, Minnesota to Noble Lawrence and Elsie Lindberg. He married Shirley Thurnau in 1955 and later divorced. He married Renae Wride on November 20, 1971 in Idaho Falls, ID.
Noble served as a Sergeant in the Air Force. He served in Korea as a Pharmacy Specialist. He attended North Dakota State University where he received his bachelor’s degree in Pharmacology. He was a member of the Masons. He had his pilot’s license, enjoyed flying and was previously former President of Idaho Falls Flying Club. He worked at Value Drug and Albertson’s pharmacies. He loved serving his patients. He was a member of the LDS church.
He enjoyed being around his family and his dogs. He also enjoyed fishing, playing cards, boating, water/snow skiing, snowmobiling, photography, dancing, music and grilling steaks.
He is survived by his wife, Renae, children: Bob Lindberg, Rick (Sally) Lindberg, Bill (Robin) Lindberg, John (Nancy) Lindberg, Chip (Angela) Lindberg, DJ Lindberg, Cary (Genessi) Cleverley, Gary Cleverley, Joel (Susan) Cleverley, Alan Cleverley, Tamera (Bryan) Clark, Stephanie Cleverley Guinn; 26 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren, sister; Elaine Geis.
Preceded in death by his parents, sister Elaine, and granddaughter Camille Cleverley.
Funeral services will be held, Friday May 1, 2015 at 11 a.m. at Lindquist’s Layton Mortuary, 1867 N. Fairfield Rd. where friends may visit with family from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. prior to the service. Interment, Aberdeen City Cemetery, Aberdeen, Idaho.
