Nola Ann Wilkinson Morriss, 74, passed away Friday, December 10, 2010 at McKay-Dee Hospital.
She was born April 20, 1936 in Richfield, Utah to Samuel DeLile and Thelma Celesta Jackman Wilkinson. She attended schools in Salt Lake City and graduated from West Valley College in California.
Nola served as Corporal in the United States Marine Corps during the Korean Conflict.
On December 5, 1957, Nola married Denny David Roberts in Arlington, Virginia. Together they had three sons. Denny preceded her in death on October 14, 1974. She married Arthur W. Dalton on October 9, 1982. They served a LDS mission to Virginia. He preceded her in death.
On May 9, 2009, Nola married Duane L. Morriss in Ogden, Utah. He was with her, loving and caring for her until the end.
Nola enjoyed gardening, being outdoors, decorating, family history and crocheting.
She enjoyed her temple work at the St. George LDS Temple. She volunteered on the Piute Trail for the US Forest Service.
Nola is survived by her husband, Duane; three sons, Larry (Margaret), Clearfield; Scott (Julie), Ogden; Raymond, Salt Lake City; three grandchildren, two great-grandchildren; a brother, Francis Gary Wilkinson, Salt Lake City; and a sister, Marjorie (Bruce) Collard, Layton.
She was preceded in death by her parents, two husbands, two brothers, Oliver Delile and Samuel K Wilkinson, and a nephew, Ken Christenson.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, December 15th at 11 a.m. at the Lomond View Ward Chapel, 373 15th Street.
The family will meet friends for a visitation on Tuesday from 6 to 8 p.m. at Lindquist''s Ogden Mortuary, 3408 Washington Blvd. and Wednesday from 9:45 to 10:45 a.m. at the church house.
Interment, Ogden City Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Cancer Society or the American Lung Association in memory of Nola.
