Nolan Wright

Nolan Eugene Wright

August 22, 1954 ~ March 3, 2015

Nolan passed away at his home with his parents by his side, early on the morning of Tuesday, March 3, 2015.

The second of three sons, Nolan Eugene Wright was born to Stanley D. and his wife, LaReah June on August 22, 1954, in Ogden, Utah.

Nolan was quick to grasp his love of the world and all it encompassed. He developed a deep fondness of outlaw country music, hot rods, soda pop, cell phones and people. Nolan went out of his way to greet everyone with a smile and if you were feeling down, he would share your pain until he got a smile back out of you. Nolan was a master storyteller who loved to entertain. His infectious laughter and honest caring, was well known to light the darkest of rooms.

With Nolan’s passing, the world has lost a true child of God, whose loving memory will always shine hope upon all those he loved.

He was preceded in death by his brothers, Roger S. Wright and Alan D. Wright.

Nolan is survived by his parents, Stanley D. and LaReah June and his nephews Brandon Wright, Rocky Wright and their families and niece, Jade Ellis and her family.

The family extends sincere appreciation to the South Ridge group home for the care given to Nolan while he resided there over the years. Also want to thank every person individually for their love and support given to Nolan.

In lieu of a funeral, a memorial service will be held to celebrate Nolan’s life Monday, March 9th from 5 to 6:30 p.m. at the Sunset City Building, 200 West 1300 North, Sunset, Utah 84015, top floor. Please park and enter on the east side of the building, respecting the handicap stalls for persons needing them. Come hungry, dinner will be provided.
