Noreene Woodland Hodgman, 79, died Sunday, December 7, 2008.

She was born October 14, 1929, the only daughter of Wayne and Hartell Priest Woodland, in Brigham City, UT.

She married Charles (Jerry) Hodgman on October 3, 1949 in Willard. The marriage was later solemnized in the Ogden Temple. They were the parents of three children, two girls and one boy. Charles died June 11, 1986.

After 30 years of services at Hill AFB, she retired as a Section Chief.

She was a member of the LDS Church serving in many positions including Relief Society President and Young Womens President. She was currently working as an Ordinance Worker in the Bountiful Temple.

She had many interests including golfing, singing in choirs, and playing any kind of board and card games.

She is survived by her children Gail Morrison, Vicki (Kerry) Miya, and Roger (Christie) Hodgman, seven grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, brother, Kent Woodland, and numerous friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and two brothers TeWayne and Val Woodland.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, December 13, 2008 at 11 a.m. at the Gailey Park Ward, 331 So. 50 W., Kaysville. Friends and family may call Friday from 6 to 8 p.m. at Lindquist''s Layton Mortuary, 1867 No. Fairfield Road and Saturday from 10 to 10:45 a.m. at the church.

Interment, Willard City Cemetery.
