Helen Noreene Phister Law, 86, passed away August 19, 2024. She was born the 15th day of April, 1938 in Oakland, California, the daughter, and third child, of Raymond Emerson Phister and Helen Almeda Poulson Phister.
She was married and sealed for time and eternity to Newell John Law on July 12, 1957 in the Salt Lake Temple. Noreene was a very faithful member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She and her husband served a mission to the Fort Lauderdale, Florida area. She also served in various callings throughout her life. However, her greatest and most fulfilling calling was that of wife and mother.
While tending to the needs and education of her children, she enjoyed working in her flower gardens, growing roses, and decorating her home. She had a keen eye for detail in all that she did. She was a long-time resident of Fruit Heights City.
Her husband, Newell, preceded her in death in March of 2011.
She is survived by her children Suzanne (Ross Ed) Phillips, Brian (Sandra) Law, Perry (Terri) Law, Melinda (Curtis) Green, Shauna (Joel) Horne, Evan (Krista) Law, Jennifer (Ken) Zabriskie, and foster children Barbara (Raymond) Hatch and Josie (Rob) Farnsworth. She is also survived by 32 grandchildren and 69 great-grandchildren.
