Norine Earl

Norine Earl, 75, precious wife, sister, mother, grandmother, great mother and friend, passed peacefully from this mortal existence to join those she loved who had gone before her on Thursday, June 3, 2010 at Rocky Mountain Care Center surrounded by loving family.

Norine was born on November 16, 1934 in Ogden, Utah to Edna (Bowden) and Pete Peterson.

She married the love of her life, Willis John Earl, on January 10, 1952. They moved to Colorado Springs, Colorado while Willis finished his responsibilities in the Army. Their marriage was solemnized on January 10, 1964 in the Logan Temple. They are parents to four children. They have 9 grandchildren and 23 great-grandchildren.

Her beloved Willis passed on February 20, 2009.

Norine is a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and served faithfully in many callings, always happy to serve her Father in Heaven.

Norine is survived by her sister, Doris Willis; daughter Trudy (Rod) Rhoades of North Ogden; sons Dennis (Paula) Earl of Hooper; and Ray (Julie) Earl of Perry. She has several nieces and nephews.

Preceding her in death are her parents; 2 sisters, Colleen and Sharon; husband Willis and daughter Vickie Lynn Atkinson.

Our family would like to sincerely thank the many people at Rocky Mountain Care and Hospice for taking such good care of Mom.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, June 9, 2010 at 2 p.m. at Lindquist''s Layton Mortuary, 1867 N. Fairfield Road. Friends may visit family Tuesday from 6 to 8 p.m. and Wednesday from 12:45 to 1:45 at the mortuary.

Interment, Lindquist''s Washington Heights Memorial Park, 4500 Washington Blvd, Ogden, UT.
