Norine Hart Vogt

December 5, 1927 ~ June 21, 2016

Norine Vogt returned to her Heavenly Father and her sweetheart Bob on June 21, 2016 at the age of 88. She was born in Ogden, Utah to Orson and Reba Hart on December 5, 1927. Her childhood was carefree and she always recalled of it fondly. She married her husband, Robert Vogt on February 7, 1947. The marriage was later solemnized in the Logan LDS Temple.

Anyone and everyone who knew Norine loved her playful spunk.  As a homemaker and mother of four, she dedicated her life to making everyone around her feel loved and cared for. She lived for spending summers at the family cabin in Island Park, square dancing, humorous birthday cards, and harmless pranks. She spent her mornings talking on the phone with friends and afternoons basking in the sun.  She was an unwavering Utah Jazz fan and word search lover. Her greatest joy was her grandchildren.

Norine was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.  She gave her time freely by volunteering as a pink lady at McKay Dee Hospital and the 2002 Winter Olympics.

Norine is survived by her sister, Larue Toponce; four children, Gina Cash, Robert (Kris) Vogt, Curtis (Patty) Vogt, and Kristi (Brad) Ostler; 15 grandchildren and 24 great-grandchildren.  Norine was preceded in death by her husband, parents, older brother, Bert Hart; two sons-in-law, Marcus Wilde and Clay Cash and granddaughter, Amie Cash

The family would like to thank Stonehenge and Lotus Park for their loving care this past year.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, June 29, 2016 at 11 a.m. Lindquist’s Ogden Mortuary, 3408 Washington Blvd.  Friends may visit with family on Wednesday from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. at the mortuary.  Interment, Lindquist’s Washington Heights Memorial Park, 4500 Washington Blvd.
