KAYSVILLE, UTAH a€" Norma Anderton passed away peacefully on Thursday, January 10, 2013, at age 86, surrounded by family.

She was born and raised in Bountiful, Utah to Thomas Henry and Ada Caraline Braegger Clay on August 24, 1926. She was the oldest of three siblings. She graduated from Davis High School.

Norma married James Carter Anderton on May 10, 1947 and were later sealed in the Salt Lake Temple. Together they had four children, Donald C. (Esther) Anderton, Ronald C. (Linda) Anderton, Cheri Schwab and Janine Greenhalgh.

Norma enjoyed bowling, reading books, traveling, going out to eat, watching old war movies, family gatherings, shopping, Daughter of the Utah Pioneers and watching her children and grandchildren participate in sports.

She was preceded in death by her husband and two brothers, Thomas Henry Clay and William Henry Clay. She leaves behind her children,16 grandchildren and 35 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, January 15, 2013 at 11 a.m. at Lindquist''s Kaysville Mortuary, 400 North Main. Friends may visit family on Monday from 6 to 8 p.m. and Tuesday from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. at the mortuary. Interment, Kaysville City Cemetery.
