Norma J. Bartonek
SOUTH OGDEN – Norma James Bartonek, 97, died Wednesday, December 26, 2007, in South Ogden, Utah.
Born September 30, 1910, in Riverdale, Utah, she was the first of six children born to Albert and L. Pearl Stoker James.
She married Cloyd O. Bartonek in 1932, with their vows later solemnized in the Ogden Temple. They lived and worked in the Ogden area throughout their lives; she being employed as a beautician for 35 years.
She served in Primary, Sunday school, and the Relief Society and was also a companion Home Teacher with her husband.
Surviving are her children, Karen B. Kendrick, South Ogden, and James C. Bartonek, Oregon, City, OR; five grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren, and sister Helen J. Bowcutt, Orem, all of whom will miss her greatly.
The family expresses thanks to the hospice staff at VistaCare and Mt. Ridge Assisted Living.
